- Event dates: June 1 to 15. Our Virtual Walk spans a two-week window, giving you plenty of flexibility to choose the time and place to fit your schedule. Walk as often or as much as you?d like!
- Join us for the Kick-Off event (optional) on Wednesday June 1st at 10:30 am at the Center. Includes a short walk around Theodore Roosevelt Park, followed by lunch back at the Center at noon. (Please call the Center in advance at 516-922-1770 to reserve your free lunch!)
- The Walkathon is the Center?s Spring fundraiser, and we are hoping you will consider participating, by registering to walk, supporting a walker or making a donation in honor or memory of a senior you love.
- The self-guided Walkathon will take place June 1st to June 15th. Participants can walk when they want, where they want, and as much as they want during the two-week period. Simply register to walk and set your personal goal or create a team. We encourage participants to share their goal with friends and family and inspire them to walk with them or help raise money through pledges.
