Community Cleanup with Friends of the Bay and Oyster Bay Main Street Association

Friends of the Bay and the Oyster Bay Main Street Association are partnering again for the third annual South Street Cleanup on Saturday, November 13, from 10 a.m. to noon. (Rain date: November 14).
Community service certificates will be available. Volunteers will meet in the lot adjacent to 80 South Street. Gloves and bags will be supplied. Registration is requested at https://www.friendsofthebay.org/volunteer-registration.html.
Both Friends of the Bay and the Oyster Bay Main Street Association are nonprofit organizations located in downtown Oyster Bay. The mission of Friends of the Bay is to protect the Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor Estuary and the surrounding watershed. The mission of the Oyster Bay Main Street Association is to create a healthy economy in an attractive hamlet, while maintaining the downtown’s historic integrity. This cleanup is one of the initiatives by both groups to help keep Oyster Bay clean.
