Breaking Boundaries
Join us for a string quartet concert featuring music by living female composers breaking boundaries in the classical music field. This program was inspired by Planting Fields? exhibition Fashioning Desire: The Art of Gerda Wegener featured earlier this year. The program will feature Caroline Shaw: Plan and Elevation, Shelley Washington: Middleground, Gabriella Smith: Carrot Revolution, Reena Esmail: Ragamala, and Jesse Montgomery: Strum with Gergana Haralampieva, violin; Julia Danitz, violin; Halam Kim, viola; Clara Abel, cello.
