\n LOCATION:The National Park Service and the Boy Scouts of America are national partners. The Boy Scouts of America require community service for rank advancement. Some ranks specifically require conservation service. Theodore Roosevelt was an early supporter of Scouting\, and was declared the Chief Scout Citizen in 1911. TR was also an early supporter of conservation. Having Boy Scouts conduct conservation projects at TR?s home is a natural fit.
