The celebration will be held on Friday\, December 18\, 2020 at 6 pm. \n\n\n\nHunter Restaurant fuses Classic French Technique with the bold flavors and traditions of the Mediterranean. The chef driven menu\, amplified by market inspired specials\, transforms contemporary ingredients into modern expression.\n\n\n\nFrom the high sculpted walnut ceiling to the flowing serpentine Onyx bar\, the restaurant is inviting and alluring. The ambient space is designed by James Beard Award winning hospitality architects\, Bentel and Bentel.  This design provides the perfect backdrop for Hunter's signature classic plates. \n\n\n\nChef and Owner\, Hunter Wells is a graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City. He worked locally across many Long Island restaurants\, where he honed his craft. Hunter is a purist who craves interesting juxtapositions. His fondest childhood memory was dreaming of becoming a Chef while cooking at home with his Father. Hunter's late Grandfather's unstoppable optimistic spirit inspired the Chef to pursue his dream\, which he realized with the culmination of Hunter Restaurant.\n\n\n\nOyster Bay-East Norwich Chamber of Commerce is delighted to welcome Hunter Wells' fabulous new restaurant to the community.
