DESCRIPTION:Fantasy in Bloom   Spring Benefit at Planting Fields \n\nCome to Planting Fields on Saturday\, June 19 for an evening of art and music to celebrate the 2021 exhibitions\, including a newly commissioned sound installation entitled Pastoral (Indoor/Outdoors) by Nico Muhly who will join us for the debut of his two-part composition.  Nico Muhly writes orchestral music\, works for the stage\, chamber music and sacred music. Muhly has received commissions from The Metropolitan Opera: Two Boys\, (2011) and Marnie (2018)\; Carnegie Hall\, the Los Angeles Philharmonic\, The Australian Chamber Orchestra\, the Tallis Scholars\, and King's College\, Cambridge\, among others. Pastoral (Indoor/Outdoors) will be experienced within the Gallery of Coe Hall and inside and around the Tea House in the Italian Garden. Cocktails\, hors d'oeuvres and canapes will be served throughout the gardens and under the West Portico from 6:30   9:00 PM. All ticket sales support the mission of Planting Fields Foundation. www.plantingfields.org
